DESCRIPTION

Meet the Ibanez Custom Shop Visions SR - an ultra-rare, master-built bass that represents the highest level of craftsmanship to come out of Japan. Produced in extremely limited numbers, each instrument is meticulously constructed by Ibanez’s most skilled luthiers using hand-selected tonewoods and premium components throughout.

At its core is a resonant ash body topped with striking Bastogne walnut, paired with a fast, ultra-stable S-TECH maple and purpleheart neck. The playing experience is elevated further by a 24-fret Pale Moon ebony fingerboard, finished with the Custom Shop’s signature fret edge treatment for a smooth, broken-in feel right out of the case.

Tonally, this bass is built to cover serious ground. Dual Nordstrand Big Single pickups, housed in matching wood covers, deliver clarity, punch, and dynamic response, while the Ibanez Sonitech preamp provides powerful shaping capabilities to dial in everything from articulate modern tones to thick, full-bodied lows.

Visually bold and sonically versatile, the Visions SR is as inspiring to play as it is to look at. With only a handful produced worldwide, opportunities to own one are exceptionally limited.
