Cosmetic Condition: Guitar is in very good condition. There are some scratches on the pickguard. There are a handful of small dings in the finish on the top as well as some finish cracks near the neck plate and neck pocket. This was inspected by our technician and is normal and to be expected in stress areas with a vintage nitrocellulose finish.

Tech Notes: When this guitar came in it had a few mods done including a swapped pickguard, pickups, tuners, bridge and Schaller strap buttons. We simply reverted this back to the original spec sheet, with its original parts, with the exception of leaving the Schaller strap buttons and locks in place. Everything plays, sounds and performs exactly how it should from the factory. Plays easily and evenly across the frets, with comfortable medium low action. We strung this up with 9-42 D'Addario XL strings. There is no fretboard or fret wear. The neck angle is exactly where it should be, and the heel truss rod adjustment nut works perfectly. Notice there are a few finish cracks on the piece, particularly we noticed around the neck pocket, back neck heel screws and around the strap locks. This is normal and to be expected in stress areas with a vintage nitrocellulose finish. It does look like however when the upper strap button was installed, it was given a bit too much torque and a small chip is the result. This is less concerning considering the finish used.
