1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black
SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM
All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup to a comfortable action as specified by that instrument’s manufacturer. Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. We can accommodate special setup requests - additional charges and/or shipping delays of 1-2 business days could occur.
INDIVIDUALLY PHOTOGRAPHED
After 15 years of innovation in our photography process, Ish Guitars has developed a way to get you the most accurate true-to-life color of every instrument we sell. We never embellish, oversaturate, or misrepresent our images, so that your buying experience can be as much like visiting our showroom as possible. Keep in mind that various computer screens can show colors a bit differently, so the color on your screen may not match the real thing perfectly no matter how hard we try. Also, unless otherwise noted, we individually list and photo every piece of gear that comes through our doors.

SPECS
Weight: 10.5 lbs
Case Details: Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: Good condition. Guitar has been played a ton and has a lot of wear and tear/mojo. Scratches and minor dings are present throughout the entire guitar. Some chips through the finish on headstock points. Bit of chip out on the fretboard binding and various chips along board binding as well. Case interior is coming undone a bit and the foam beneath is visible.
Tech Notes: Great medium/low action player with minimal relief in the neck. All hardware and electronics tested during setup were found functioning to manufacturer's specifications. Some fretboard and fret wear noted during setup across the entire board, this however does not impact setup or playability. Pots match the appropriate year for the guitar and are original. See attached pictures for additional details. There is a small chip out on the underside of the fretboard binding and general marks/finish chips on the binding throughout the fretboard. Clearly was a players guitar in the past as evident of the wear on the body along with great feel/playability throughout the entire neck.
Mods or Repairs: When we received the instrument the strap button by the neck had been completely stripped out and required a dowel fill and re-drill because of the size of the hole required we added black washers to cover it up. The back strap button had some light chipout/finish issues and was covered with a matching black washer. These are Jim Dunlop Strap Locks with the original strap buttons in the case. Additional bridge screws and saddles are also in the case.
